    anytime, martial artists, especially on this site could really benefit from some positive thinking, shared knowledge, and open-minded thinking. Kwonkicker might disagree with me on this one, but we have much different backgrounds. Either way it’s an opinion. Leg kicks are a good example, so are roundhouses, that everyone has a “right way” to throw.

    I was always taught heel but there is an argument for both. Your foot allows for an extra “snap” on contact, and there is less chance of hyper-extending if some mistake is made. The heel however is a much harder surface so that even if blocked it can do serious damage to forearms etc. Best two examples to search for are Edson Barboza v Terry Etim and Badr Hari v Stefen Leko (sp?).

    So im standing with my leftr leg in front, a normal spinning hook kick is nwith my right leg but here u use the right leg to swing and use left for the kick. SO what is the best solution? switch stances before i do the kick? same with the tornado kick. please answer

    I’m a black belt in taekwondo and have to leran this kick for my next tournament and i have to say its sooo hard to learn!!!but its a great kick!!
