  • By TrdefTheGamer, October 14, 2011 @ 4:13 pm

@Caeviens Infact there being score alot more on electronic scoring than they used to.

  • By Caeviens, October 14, 2011 @ 4:45 pm

@TrdefTheGamer I do apologise – It was probably rather late when I typed that.

They RARELY Score. But are often used to keep up pace where possible, and as you said, to offbalance.

  • By TrdefTheGamer, October 14, 2011 @ 5:29 pm

@Caeviens actually sometimes they do score, and if not a strong punch can knock the opponent slightly off balance. A lot of competitors will punch as they move in.

taekwondo suks ! kung fu is better

  • By Caeviens, October 14, 2011 @ 6:12 pm

@Oni93657 1; There ARE Punches in TKD. But in Sport Forms they dont Score. So People dont use them. 2; Yes. If you dont base your Opinion of the whole Art on Sport Variants, that becomes more obvious. ITF TKD and various Independant Forms make this more Obvious, but the KKW Form holds its own just fine.

It sounds like we have a lot of TKD practitioners here. I have a question our two. 1, are there ni punches in TKD? 2-do you think TKD will work in a street fight, our is it mainly for sport? Awesome vid by the way.
