    Horse Stance started in Kung Fu and was copied by other Martial Arts. And
    when you use a counting system it is usually spoken in the language from
    which the martial art came from.

    he’s counting in korean and all the words (attention, bow etc) are korean

    I know that he is counting and speaking in Korean. I too have done Korean
    Martial Arts, I have even spoken all of the words… but just because he is
    asian and is counting in Korean, does not automatically make him Korean.
